What actually gates a kit
You need cash from robberies, hero pay, or boss rewards, enough power slots for the kit, and, when the newer obtain system is active, a spin budget you can afford to lose.
The older loop was: grind to the listed price and buy the power. The later loop adds a spin or gambling-style layer. Shop anchors such as NanoTech still show up in showcases around 2,000,000 cash. Do not empty the robbery fund into spins until Invisibility or a real combat starter is safe.
Obtain order
Phase 1. Skip Magic Blast and Energy Blast. Buy Invisibility if you rob, or Super Strength / Super Speed if you fight. Learn M1 and block.
Phase 2. Save a second meaningful power: Pyrokinesis, Acid, a Gravity path, Flight, or another tool you have already seen work. Spend surplus cash on spins, not rent money. If a roll gives Nova, Acid, or Quick Step, read those three powers before you respec around it.
Phase 3. Unlock three slots before NanoTech, or commit to Gravity or Doom from the tier list. Re-check after every patch in Patch notes.
| Goal | Slots first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Full NanoTech | 3 | The suit consumes the bar |
| Doom plus mobility | 2 or more | Keeps an escape |
| Gravity captain | 1 to 2 | Often wants a damage partner |
| Invisibility robber | 1 early | Funds the rest |
Boss drops versus the shop
Thragg can roll cash or existing powers such as Flight and Martial Arts. That is content, not automatically the fastest unlock. A Military Base loop can buy the same power with less variance. See Beat Thragg.
After a bad roll
Run one clean Bank or Military Base loop before you spin again. Write down what you own so you do not repurchase a duplicate. Do not install an executor because a spin missed.
